Annual Sacramento Advocacy Trip

Save the Date for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Annual trip to California’s state capitol, which will focus on key Silicon Valley policy priorities.

Delegation visits will strategically occur with the Governor’s office, key state Senate and Assembly leaders, and constitutional officers including the Attorney General, State Treasurer, Lt. Governor, State Controller, and key agency department leaders to name a few. In addition to high-level visits, the trip will feature networking opportunities with key Silicon Valley industry leaders.

2010 Dates: April 20 (bulk of visits after 10:00 a.m. with an evening reception to cap off the day) and April 21 (visits end by 1:30 p.m.)

Cost for Registration: $500 for Leadership Group members (includes all meals, 1 night hotel stay, staff time/travel costs, and all meeting materials); $350 for public sector officials; $250 for Sacramento-based representatives. Please contact us so that we can work with you on a registration fee that fits your budget.

Delegation Size: A goal has been set to include a broad cross-section of Silicon Valley with at least 60 executives or more on the trip. Sacramento-based executives are welcome to participate at a lower rate.

Hotel information: Group hotel accommodations will be at the Sheraton Grand Hotel which is in close proximity to the Capitol Building. Note: most meetings will occur in the Capitol Building, but some may occur at the Sheraton Grand or other off-site location as indicated in itinerary. Details are as follows:

Transportation: Reduce your carbon footprint! A bus will greet participants at the Leadership Group offices on the morning of April 20 at 7:30 a.m. destination Sacramento.
